    Directions to 50 International Drive: From the South, take I-95 to the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16) North. From the North come via the Spaulding Turnpike South. From either direction take Exit 1 Gosling Road exit. Turn on Pease Boulevard into the Pease International Tradeport (to the right from the north and to the left from the south). At the lights turn left onto International Drive. At the stop sign turn right onto International Drive, then left into the first driveway. There is plenty of available parking. If you get lost call 603 559-1500.

    Directions: From FE Everett Turnpike (Route 3) take Exit 5E and follow 111A East into Downtown Nashua on Kinsley Street. Pass St. Joseph's Hospital on the right and a cemetery on the left. At the corner of Elm and Kinsley, take a left at the light. Cross through the next light and City Hall will be directly on your right. Parking is available in the parking garage (third right) on the bottom floor at the parking meters. Meters are $0.25 for a half an hour. Meters are good for up to 10 hours. Take stairs or the elevator in City Hall to the 3rd floor where the meeting will be held. If lost, call 589-3111.

    V. Idling Reduction - discussion of sample policies, state regulations, and available resources.

           b. October 14th Advancing the Choice event and Billion Gallon Celebration
           c. City of Nashua and City of Manchester diesel school bus retrofit projects.

  • June 28, 2005 Biodiesel in New Hampshire Conference - Make it Here, Use it Here
    This day long conference will discuss the pros and cons of biodiesel use in both heating oil and diesel engines and will have break out sessions for both fleet managers and fuel distributors. The afternoon session will conclude with a demonstration of making biodiesel from waste grease.   • September 22, 2004 - Biodiesel Workshop - Montpelier, VT
  • September 18-19, 2004 - Alt Wheels - New England's Largest Alternative Transportation Festival. This festival will be held at the Larz Anderson Transportation Museum in Brookline, MA. GSCCC is one of the sponsors of this event this year. Last year this event had over 1000 participants, 53 speakers, and 73 vehicles in the lawn show. A special invitation-only meeting will be held on Monday, September 20th to discuss building a sustainable transportation vision for New England. The meeting will be from 1:30 to 3:30 and will focus on biodiesel use in NH, and the upcoming 2004 State Energy Program grants for the Clean Cities program.   • February 18, 2003 ~ HB 828 Hearing - The New Hampshire House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means will hold a hearing on House Bill 828, Relative Eastern Connecticut State University Alternative Fuel Vehicles, at 2 p.m. at the Legislative Office Building Room 202. Interested Stakeholders are invited to attend the hearing and lend their testimony on the proposed legislation.   • October 15, 2002 ~ Advancing the Choice Event - GSCCC will be co-hosting an Advancing the Choice Event with the Clean Cities coalitions EVermont and Main Clean Communities at Colby College in Waterville ME. Colby is hosting the Northern New England ERAPA (Eastern Region Association of Physical Plant Administrators) Fall Conference, October 14-15. The Northern New England Chapter is ME, NH and VT and it includes all the colleges, universites and many of the private schools in the 3 states. We have been invited to this event to present information regarding alternative fuels and vehicles and provide ride and drive opportunities for these campus administrators.

  • September 20, 2002 ~ Stakeholder Meeting at the Appalachian Mountain Club's Pinkham Notch Visitor Center in Gorham, NH, 9AM - 3PM includes lunch. Discussion will center around use of alternative fuels in rural areas and exploration of which fuels and vehicles will work the best in these areas. Paul Murphy of Downeast Transportation, operator of the Acadia propane bus service, will present on fueling and maintenance issues associated with propane bus operation. Also scheduled to speak is Keith Ciamp of World Energy. He is to speak biodiesel. Suburban Propane has also been invited to discuss the availability and cost of propane in New Hampshire.
